INFORMED CAREERS deploys a proven job search process designed to enable Executives to conduct an efficient and effective approach to enable them to achieve their desired objectives. It has five phases as follows:
The Assessment Phase involves working with an Executive to better understand their vision of the future, desires in terms of career objectives, accomplishments, key capabilities, likes and dislikes, and threads during their career to date in order to help establish specific career goals and targets. Typically we utilize an Accomplishments and a Visioning exercise to rapidly establish career targets. In more complex career transitions, we utilize a number of more in depth assessment tests.
The Targeting Phase establishes and prioritizes a number of career targets based upon what is learned in the assessments and an Executives experience and objectives. We work with the Executive to define at least 200 targeted positions (company, role, and geography) as an initial list to be pursued on a prioritized basis.

Campaign Planning & Management
Campaign Planning & Management is pursued on a prioritized basis for each targeted career area. Each Campaign will involve Planning, Implementing, and Follow Up stages that should result in 6-8 position opportunity discussions occurring in each targeted area. During this Phase for each target career area, we help Executives develop their:
direct mail program,
networking (online and in person) strategy,
us of executive search firms, and
job site and ad approaches.
Each Targeted Campaign involves three stages: Planning, Implementation, and Follow Up for each target market. We also provide networking, interview, and salary negotiation skill training during this Phase to ensure an Executive is well prepared for the implementation of their search campaign. In addition, campaign tracking and monitoring approaches are provided to ensure measurement and review of campaigns effectiveness and any needed modifications.
For Executives seeking to transition to a different career, we provide more in depth assessments and longer term planning approaches beyond a job search in order to accomplish these types of objectives. In addition, we work with Executives to develop a long term career plan with key actions to be taken to achieve that vision and goals in terms of desired positions, training, roles, networking, etc. Many Executives engage in an annual Career Plan review and refinement process as well.
